Knightsbridge School

Knightsbridge School was founded in 2006. This wonderful building in Lennox Gardens was originally two large townhouses with high ceilings. It became the Danish Embassy, the American School, and then for 40 years was the Hellenic College before opening up to the local community as KS. Its large windows and grand staircase add to the bright and welcoming atmosphere in the reception area which hosts morning music performances. The delightful Assembly Hall alongside spacious Reception classrooms gives a real sense of creative and learning excitement alongside a bubbling science lab, an enriching art studio up in the gods, an all-singing and dancing dining room. We also have individual music practice rooms for our 1:1 lessons, and pioneering Place2Be counselling rooms where students, parents, and teachers can receive support, training, and services.

St Columba's Church

St Columba’s Church provides a wonderful space for KS throughout the week. We use it from 8am to 5pm every day for physical fitness and gymnastics, our KS library, and the use of 4 classrooms which we designed in 2018.

We hold extra-curricular clubs each week before and after school, Fencing and Table Tennis matches as well as many other activities.  We also hold whole school celebrations such as assemblies, Remembrance Services, Carol Services, Christmas Fairs, KS Entrepreneur, KS Has Got Talent, Concerts, and many more parent, staff, and student functions.

Royal Hospital / Burton Court

Royal Hospital

Connecting with older generations is key at KS. Since inception in 2006 The Royal Hospital has remained one of our key charities and beneficiaries in the community. Chelsea pensioners visit to reiterate service and more recently we have shared poems through Poetry Together. Every Remembrance Day, Pensioners attend our Remembrance Day Service where we remember together.

Burton Court

Owned by The Royal Hospital, Burton Court is a great space within walking distance where we have some of our Games and Physical Education lessons. We also hold our KS Staff vs KS Parents matches in rounders,  football, and cricket and each year the KS Parents Association host their summer party here.
