Our open ended curriculum for the EYFS reflects the seven areas of learning (and the Characteristics of Effective Learning) which are identified in the statutory EYFS Framework (2023). Our day to day learning opportunities enable children to develop competency and skills across all of the Early Learning Goals.
In addition to this, the Reception children have Modern Foreign Languages (French or Spanish) Forest School (6 week block throughout the year) Tennis, Dance, Drama, Music, Sports, Balls Skills and Gymnastics. The children head to local parks throughout the week – for example St Lukes, Battersea, Hyde Park and Holland Park. We travel there by a private bus company.
